Reviews for Anchorage Cooperative Preschool Inc
ACP has been such an inclusive environment during my short time there so far. I mentioned that I wanted to help out in a certain area and they got back to me immediately! I now work diligently setting up thing for them and I know my work there is appreciated. The other families are so nice, and the kiddos thrive in the great environment. I'm so glad that I'm a part of it, and I happily look forward to several more years here.
I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
My child loves this preschool, and helping there has been a wonderful experience. I've taken away a lot so far.
If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
Have it more publicly visible organizational wise. As in who does what. I'm working on that part!
What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...
The parents that have been there a while are great. They really include you in things and are happy that you want to help!
The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...
Very active in the running of the preschool.
If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...
Really expand its program and open more locations if it wanted! It could afford a building of its own too. Maybe even pay some of the volunteer parents. Would be cool. :)
Ways to make it better...
I had fewer things to do and wasn't so rushed with kids, school, internship, parents, etc. If I could sit down and dedicate more time I believe I would get more done and more efficiently.
In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...
Available parent hours to help grow the school. I think the expertise is definitely there.
One thing I'd also say is that...
My first impression of the place was very positive. I didn't think that I'd get to be a member, I was so worried about that! I had no problems at all though!
