Mission:
The ASCE Foundation provides support for programs that enhance quality of life, promote the civil engineering profession, advance technical practices, and prepare civil engineers for tomorrow. The Foundation seeks to help build a stronger profession to meet tomorrow's national and global challenges.
Results:
In the past year, the Foundation provided $750,000 in financial support to ASCE programs. We hope to meet or exceed that level in 2012. We typically fund programs within four main areas:
•Awards & Scholarships,
•Strategic Initiatives,
•Communications & Outreach, and
•Education & Student Programs
Without generous contributions, many of these programs would not exist or be able to sustain their current level of operation.
