The Alzheimer’s Art Quilt Initiative is an all-volunteer, national, 501(c)3 charity whose mission is to raise awareness and fund research through art.
We accept donations of small format art quilts (maximum size: 9” x 12") for the Priority: Alzheimer’s Quilt project. We sell or auction these quilts. We also sponsor a nationally touring exhibit of quilts about Alzheimer’s. All profit funds Alzheimer’s research.

I was inspired to quilt by a dear friend. That friend developed Alzheimers and lost her ability to quilt. After 9 years she has now lost her battle with the disease as well. Her husband was a wonderful caretaker but this disease is devasting. The Alzheimers Art Quilt Initiative is the perfect ...

Not only is this volunteer organization successful in raising money for Alzheimer's Disease research, it educates and raises public awareness of this devastating disease through it's traveling art exhibits.
