Mission: Alpha SAR is a Search and Rescue team based in Houston, TX serving the greater Houston, Galveston, and surrounding areas in the search for missing persons. All members of Alpha SAR are 100% volunteers and are highly trained and certified by local and national agencies. We do train canines to aid in search and rescue, but not all members have canines. We also have flankers, man-trackers, mapping specialists, and UAV surveillance.
Geographic areas served: Houston, Galveston, Gulf Coast Texas
Programs: Search Dog Handler, Flanker, Mapping Specialist, Tracker, UAV Specialists

As a volunteer member of Alpha Search and Recovery I am very impressed with this team. They strive to be the best trained and certified team in the area so that they may provide the very best resources available to law enforcement for locating missing persons. I hope they continue to keep up the good work!
