Aglow reaches an estimated 200,000 women each month through local groups -- the heart of the organization. Our mission is to lead women to Jesus Christ and provide opportunity for Christian women to grow in their faith and minister to others. Aglow's vision is to impact the lives of women worldwide in two ways, through prayer and outreach, both of which are supported with tangible responses to need. Aglow women reach out to their communities in many directions: To women in prison, in senior homes, inner city neighborhoods, and mental institutions; to single moms, as well as to the average woman next door who may need a cup of tea and a good chat with a friend. Aglow International was founded in 1967 by four American women who prayed for a way to reach out to other Christian women in simple fellowship, free from denominational constraints. The first meeting drew more than 100 women to a local hotel. Today Aglow touches the lives of an estimated 17,000,000 people on six continents through local group meetings, Bible studies, seminars, retreats, conferences, and various outreaches.

We worked alongside our Filipino brothers and sisters to take the Good News of Jesus Christ to remote areas of the eastern part of the province of Samar. Our focus was also to plant churches and Bible studies so that every person has the opportunity to attend one near them. Local leaders were inspired to work together to accomplish their goals. In 10 days of meetings with free concerts, drama, testimony, teaching, preaching, and prayer ministry, 80% of the crowds of 5,896 responded.
I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
reaching out to other people after having been transformed in my own heart. I have experienced most of my spiritual growth through Aglow. I have been transformed by revelation, vision, leadership training, and the tools to take action!
