Reviews for Aggieland Pregnancy Outreach
APO has such a big heart for all of the moms and babies that come through their doors. I love what they stand for and how hard they work for those girls and their children!
As an intern, I loved seeing how the staff at APO truly care about every single person that comes in contact with the organization. Their doors are always open to help with every aspect of adoption and parenting, and you can see how much their service impacts the people they work with.
APO is a remarkable organization. I love that they are helping families with adoption while taking great emotional care of the teen birth mom at the same time. They have so many outreach programs in the community that are truly changing lives. I am honored to get to be a part of such a passionate team.
APO does amazing work with birth moms, adoptive parents and teen moms. APO accepts people just as they are and they provide resources, counseling and services to help people handle the situation they’re in. Proud that I can be affiliated with them!
APO has guided us through two adoptions and we highly recommend working with the agency. Each staff member is so kind and responsive and truly loves what they do. We have really seen how wonderful each person is there, and we have seem firsthand how they have made a difference in so many families lives, both adoptive families and families raising their biological kids. We know the agency not only does everything exactly how the state requires, but that they also go above and beyond to prepare families for whatever comes their way.
I've been volunteering with APO for 2.5-3 years now. They truly are a second family I love the mission that they carry out in the community and the way that they lovingly treat every person that walks through their doors!
I started with Aggieland Pregnancy Outreach (APO) as an intern during one of my final semesters at Texas A&M. I quickly fell in love with this organization, the detication of their staff, volunteers, and amazing birthmoms. This organization has heart and it shines through in their selfless outreach to the community. After my time as an intern, I continued on as a weekly volunteer. I took joy in seeing the growth of APO and continuing to support them in any small way. I believe my experiences at APO are unlike any other nonprofit I have worked for in the past. This organization will continue to thrive, as they stay true to their core values. Thank you APO for the impact you have made in so many lives, as well as my own.
APO was amazing during our adoption journey. We immediately felt great about the smaller scale of APO and the very personalized, family feel. They are truly a resource for both families that choose to place and families that choose to parent. Not only did they educate us on open adoption, but they held our hands through the journey of waiting, being matched, and finally, meeting our son! They continue blessing our lives by providing counseling and support to our birth family, and if we needed them, I know they're just a phone call away. I love APOs heart to support local families and the children that come into this world. We would wholeheartedly recommend them and would have no hesitation about utilizing them should we choose to grow our family by adoption again.
Brought together a group of women who commonly feel judged and allowed them to be carefree in a learning encironment and bright the closer to Jesus!
I volunteer for APO at their weekly "mama's club." Mama's club is a partnership between Young Life and APO that helps teen moms in the community by providing them a meal and then teaching them about GOD and how to be a mom using Young Life college students and mentor moms. I work in the nursery watching the kids of both the teen moms and mentor moms. The teen moms are also encouraged to bring the child's father or father-figure. The founder of APO is very bubbly and welcoming.
The ladies at APO are always wonderful and filled with a desire to serve the community and the need it portrays.
