Review for The Parent-Child Home Program, Mineola, NY, USA
This program makes enduring changes in the attitudes and behaviours of both children and parents. It works with families over time to give them the confidence and new skills to become their children's first and most important teacher and advocate. Using a strength-based perspective and modeling new skills and behaviors, the Parent-Child Home Program should be brought to scale across the country in high-need school districts.

Working with over hundreds of families, from diverse backgrounds, and struggling with language barriers, low-income, low paying jobs, insufficient housing, I've seen the motivation that families have to do the best that they can for their children. The most effective way of reaching these families is through home visiting.

Do more publicity and outreach so many more people would know about the benefits of the program.
