Review for Southwestern Regional Golf Association Inc, Lawton, OK, USA

Rating: 5 stars

The purpose of SWRGA is to promote the general interest and welfare of the true spirit of the game of golf; foster the concept of fellowship and brotherhood; create an atmosphere that supplemented the existing recreation, social, and health needs of golf clubs throughout the region consisting of Oklahoma, Texas, Louisiana and Kansas. Finally, foster programs that strengthen and expand access to golf instruction, and activities for junior golfers, minority and underprivileged children.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

being it's President and helping award scholarships to deserving students that wanted to further their education.

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

increase the number of people it reaches.

Role:  Board Member & I helped the organization gain their 501 (c) (3) status in order to acheive their overall goals for the communities they serve.

Review for Central Texas Players Golf Association, Killeen, TX, USA

Rating: 5 stars

Currently, I am the Chairman of the First Tee of Killeen the Junior Golf Program of the Central Texas Players Golf Association. We have been a positive force in impacting the lives of young people in the Central Texas area with educational programs that build character, instill life-enhancing values and promote healthy choices through the game of golf.

We are now going into Phase IV of the First Tee Strategic Plan for 2011-2015. The vision is to IMPACT communities by positively INFLUENCING behaviors of young people and INSPIRING adults to mentor, coach, volunteer, and invest financially in many more young people by 2015.
