My Nonprofit Reviews
Review for Alliance for Childrens Rights, Los Angeles, CA, USA
The Alliance for Children's Rights is one of the best non-profits I've ever volunteered with. As an organization, it is run better and more professionally than many for-profits I've encountered in my career. It is also staffed by extremely capable, caring and patient people who do an excellent job of making both their clients and volunteers feel at ease. Anyone who wants to do community service/volunteer work with children and families in the LA area should do so through the Alliance as it is guaranteed to be a very meaningful, rewarding and enjoyable experience.
I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
One of the cases I worked on involved a heavily contested guardianship of a minor. Thanks to the constant support and guidance of the Alliance's staff during each of this difficult case's many twists and turns, I was able to achieve a successful outcome for my clients.
If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
Obviously, this would require a significant amount of resources, but I would like to see the Alliance expand its coverage area so more people in need who aren't in the greater LA area can benefit from the tremendous work it does.
