My Nonprofit Reviews
Review for Healing Touch Buddies, Inc, JUNO BEACH, FL, USA
I have been part of the inception of Healing Touch Buddies, plus I've had a buddy and have interacted with other Buddy programs and am now the Educational Director of the program. From the onset, when Betty Ann Baker asked me if I wanted to be onboard to get this Buddy program off the ground - it has had a magical energy to it. I've seen Buddies who had gone into remission and remained there (such as mine) and have experienced Buddies make incredibly peaceful transitions through this program, plus everything in between. But what I see even beyond that, as the instructor for the Volunteer weekend training program all practitioner volunteers must take, - is that it continually spreads the consciousness of unconditional love and nurturing. The givers gain as much as the receivers in their own ways. And people who know about this program, take part in it or just hear the stories are somehow enhanced. It is the template of what I hope we are progressing towards. The ability to give and to receive without ledgers or vouchers or receipts of any kind, but just the loving energy of kindness.
I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
Buddies (clients) and how their lives are enhanced; Volunteers and how they expand their horizons and their heart energy, and by-standers who simply hear and listen to the stories and feel blessed in the knowing.
What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...
Being part of the classroom team which teaches people ways to more effectively volunteer for the highest good of both giver and receiver.
If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...
Provide seed money to initiate a Healing Touch Buddies Program in every State and county of the USA.
Ways to make it better...
It continually becomes better as this program expands from Jupiter, Florida to Chicago, Northern and Western Florida and who knows where as the concept grows and the frequency expands.
