Review for Grist Magazine, Inc., Seattle, WA, USA

Rating: 5 stars

GRIST Rocks!

I wish I had the time to read it every day and follow every single link. I've read GRIST off and on for at least ten years. Their ability to simplify complex environmental issues, and bring out information that standard news outlets skip is critical.

The well crafted writing and humor helps soften what usually ends up pissing me off. (e.g., Can you say, approval of Roundup Ready alfalfa?)

I can't tell you how many times I HAVE followed a link on GRIST and ended up with really great data, information I can use to start political arguments, etc.

Read GRIST if you want to be part of the well-informed public.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

Just knowing they do their research and so if I need to know somethign I can go through their archives or see what they've written on the topic.

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

Honestly, GRIST doesn't need to change. I do. Like excersize, I should do it (read it) every day!

Role:  Professional with expertise in this field & I teach about Hanford nuclear cleanup and teach community sustainabilty as a hobby.
