It breaks my heart to hear negative comments form folks who have no personal knowledge of the great work being done at St. Joseph's Indian School. We have been donors for many years following an on site visit to the school. What drew me to the campus was an effort to learn more about my roots. My grandmother was a full blood Lakota Sioux and a member of the Lower Brule Tribe. I wish that all the people who bad mouth this organization could get first hand knowledge of the wonderful work they do. I could write a book about the positive things I have seen over the years. We will once again be attending the annual Pow Wow this year. It does my heart good to witness the joy in the eyes and actions of all the children! This broken world needs more places like this.
