Thanksgiving has a different meaning to me than most people. And my heart breaks to think of all the Indian nations we negatively affected. For this reason, I donate to St. Joseph's Indian School. I agree with others that the packets of stuff are totally not necessary. In fact, I'd rather they stopped sending the things out. I'd love to see emails with photos of what's being done. But I don't think it's necessary to question their honesty. They are highly rated by Great NonProfits and that's good enough for me. BTW, if you want to be more aware of how the American Indians have helped us "white" people, read the book, "Code Talkers." (or watch the movie). These men literally saved our butts!
