Review for Advocates for Bartow's Children, Inc., Cartersville, GA, USA
I first became involved with Advocates as a shelter volunteer soon after moving to the community. However, I was able to glimpse the bigger picture of the organization, and all it accomplished, as an intern on their Board of Directors as a part of our Chamber's Leadership class in 2006. I was immediately impressed with the level of commitment of each and every person I came in contact with! Having served on numerous boards in this community and others, I have to say that this organization outshines them all! Its mission, values and vision combine with immense dedication and good old-fashioned hard work to give the children and youth of our community hope for a brighter, safer, future.
