Review for Military Working Dog Team Support Association Inc, Charleston, WV, USA

Rating: 5 stars

I came upon this great organization while researching the establishment of one of my own non profits.
I read their mission statement only to find, I didn't need to reinvent the wheel.
One seldom comes across an organization of such dedication to support a niche segment of our military as these folks who are dedicated to the specific needs of our military working dog teams.
At this time, it is a 100% volunteer driven offering 200% of their effort.

Small but mighty and growing like a pup to a trained dog.

They Sit.Stay. and Support.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

I do not expect to receive any other results from this organization than to be with a group of like minded individuals who aim to support a niche segment of our Troops on the frontline.

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

I think we are in the midst of correct change at this time. Mindset for growth in both volunteers, members and fundraising. Nothing needs to change at this time considering we are being led by a dedicated President/Board Chair.

How did you learn about this organization?

Google search of organizations supporting our military working dog teams on the frontlines of war, veteran handlers at home, military working dogs and any veteran program involving dogs for personal and therapy reasons.

What is this organization's top short-term priority?

Fund raising both in kind and financial to fullfil needs requested by our military personnel for both personal and K9 related items which will ease their time on the front line and safety items.

Education and recognition as an organization worthy of continued support both in kind and financial to carry out events for education and fund raising. An organization that those able to contribute through Federal Combined Giving will locate and routinely contribute to assist our efforts of Troop support.
