I am a firm believer in the healing power of animals, and Giant Steps does it right. I became aware of them years ago when I participated in one of their auctions and have followed them ever since. The physical facility and the horses are fantastic and the staff is devoted, professional, and compassionate. Whether or not you're interested in the therapeutic riding program, I highly recommend visiting Giant Steps if you're in the area -- you will leave inspired, and with a more positive view of the world knowing that such places and such people exist.
