Expanding Opportunities

Expanding Opportunities has been a partner with AGI for several years. AGI plays a major role in our Street Children Project by raising a small portion of our regular street children budget and contributing to our ability to serve more children.
AGI has contributed significantly to our Children's Home in Kenya, providing food, shelter, medical care, education and surrogate parents.
AGI has enables us to serve needy children in many areas of Kenya, providing food to street children and drought victims as well as occasional life saving medical care.
Support of AGI supports many of us small non profit organizations.
One year we were able to take our orphans in the home to Northern Kenya's drought victims and allow our children to deliver packages of food to other orphans northern Kenya. Another time, AGI allowed us to transport a young very ill boy to the hospital 5 hours away for diagnosis and treatment. After a three week stay in the hospital, he left several kilos heavier, walking and healthy.

Review for GlobalGiving, Washington, DC, USA
Global Giving is a fantastic online giving organization. They are efficient, responsive, and diligent. We were accepted as a project partner and entered into the Global Challenge. Though it was difficult for us we reached the goal and became a full partner. Since then Global Giving has introduced our projects to donors we would never have had the opportunity to meet. Giving through the site has been steady. We have three projects posted presently and expect to post two more. They offer a great deal of help on many subjects. They were the highlight of our 2010 year! I look forward to working with them for many more years.

This group gave us hope in the shrinking economy. Our donors are suffering from the economic downturn and have decreased their giving. Global Giving assisted us to reach a wider group.
