Review for Grist Magazine, Inc., Seattle, WA, USA

Rating: 4 stars

Grist continues clever, funny, pithy, focussed, and entertaining. We need humor to help us fathom the unfathomable gulf between serious science pronouncements and self-centered head-inthe-sand consumer/government behavior in response thereto. Grist Magazine has used every clever headline in the lexicon already, but there must be more, as they come up with them every day. I'm involved in a number of not-for-profit projects and organizations, many in the environmental arena. Grist remains my favorite source for news and politics - EVEN BETTER than Jon Stewart and The Daily Show (which I've never seen since I don't have a television).

GRIST manages to find several stories about the environmental movement EVERY DAY to send to us. Each is headlined with a witty punny intro. GRIST is irreverent, resourceful, clever, factual, suspicious, skeptical, and pithy.

Their in-depth articles and videos on how to live a "green" life with every-day suggestions from deodorant to doorstops are entertaining and practical.

Our family is proud to support this wise, fun, far-reaching, creative web-operation and thank their staff for their excellent work.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

Its good words and endorsements of other organizations which we support and in which we believe.

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

help it raise more money and be even further-reaching.

Role:  Donor & Our family foundation has started supporting them. .
