Review for The Jonah Project, El Segundo, CA, USA
Being able to come and volunteer with the Jonah Project was honestly a life-changing experience. We were there for an evening helping in whatever way they needed us, and I ended up on a team that went out and talked to the people on Skid Row and prayed with them. It's been months since I was there and I can still clearly see the faces of the people I encountered. The Jonah Project is well known on Skid Row and they have strived to (and achieved the goal of) helping these people to feel loved and accepted. The Jonah Project is changing lives. There is no doubt about that!

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
the fact that I have a deeper love for people as a whole. I have gained a greater understanding of just how beautiful people can be, even when they may not look that way on the outside.
If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
continue to pray for more staff! Mary Beth, Patrick, Jedi (etc.) do an AMAZING job, but they could do even more with more staff members!
