All I have to say Is that FOA is the Ideal Model for what a True 501(c)3 Not -for- profit organization should look like. They don’t grill you about the age, temperament, training of the horse in need trying to determine if the horse could work for the “program” or not.
They Are SO FAST at Taking the information they are given at a moments notice and HELPING THE HORSE as soon as Possible. No other questions asked. I reached out At 8am this morning on behalf of a complete stranger to me, Whom on facebook Desperately pleaded for help with her horses after major health and life setbacks. Right now Through the help of FOA I am on the way to bring her hay she desperately needed as well as a plan for future! We are all in this together as horse owners Lovers and advocates!
