Review for Animal Rescue & K9 Charities Inc, Brookfield, CT, USA

Rating: 5 stars

The legacy of my current GSD began within an enormous male beauty named Buzz. I got him through the North Shore Animal League, on a last chance bus ride in my town of Fairfield, CT. He was the reason I fell in love and continued owning GSDs. Second dog I got through Tina Zenn, his name was Cossack. He was an impeccable blood line. The third and current GSD, his name is Dewey. Dewey is the most beautiful animal, everyone agrees. I have gotten 3 GSDs through non profit charitable organizations, each one of these dogs has enriched my life. After the first GSD, Buss, I decided that this was the breed for me. My grandfather was a veterinarian, and taught me a lot about animals, dogs in particular. I think it is very important for us when we are looking for a dog, to be sure that we can fulfill the needs of the dog first and foremost and understand what the dog was bread to do. I found that although the traits, of these dogs were that of GSDs, they're personalities were as different as that in humans. Cossack by second GSD, was a breeder dog of import from West Germany, was of impeccable blood line. Taken from someone, who was mistreating and abusing, his animals. Cossack was one year old when I adopted him. He was an amazing in that in was instinctively a warrior and agile as any dog I have ever seen. He was the smartest dog I have ever met. Beautiful to look and his grace of movement. The dog I currently have Dewey, is even more beautiful than the first two. A marvelous specimen of GSD, a perfect loving companion with a cheeky comedic side that is quite noticeable. Everyone who sees them, comments on his beauty. He has a regalness about him that I've never seen in any dog. The charities that save these magnificent dogs, need our help to continue saving these animals that enrich our human existence.
