I've been aware of Testicular Cancer Awareness Foundation (TCAF) since its very inception. We are dear friends of Jordan Jones' family, who was the inspiration for TCAF. When Jordan was diagnosed at age 13-14, his mom (Kim) started researching, asking questions, looking for answers to help Jordan overcome this disease. What she discovered is that there just was NOT much out there. So, TCAF came to be, to help Jordan through his diagnosis and to help other PATIENTS, families/loved ones, caregivers. TCAF has gathered some of the best medical minds in the world of Testicular Cancer (TC), and using the knowledge of those medical professionals to spread the word about TC and how to fight it. Another focus for TCAF is to TEACH young adult men to self-exam, and emphasizing prevention. This is an incredible organization. It changes lives. It provides information, inspiration, support (emotional and monetary) and gives patients and families a platform to ask questions and do all they can do to have a good outcome!!
