Although I do not read the Women's e News every day, nor do I read the news in general, when I do so I prefer to read the stories that are less likely to make the news in the mainstream press.

Also, women are interesting to me as people. I retired from my private practice counseling women in Maryland some years ago but the issues facing us are still the same.

Reading recently about the Indian night soil sweepers who carried the waste in baskets on their heads in India was a story I would have encountered only in novels if I did not have Women's eNews.
