Review for The Gay Christian Network, Raleigh, NC, USA

Rating: 5 stars

GCN is a great place to be. It offers support for those who are trying to reconcile their faith with their sexuality. At times the members almost can seem like a family with the way we support one another. There are a number of things discussed on the site that can be fun and then there are some things that can be very informative.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

Mending the hearts of those who a lot of the heterosexual Christians have hurt. Being a support system for people who could use it.

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

Ease up just a hair on some of the rules for the boards. But not much.

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

Growing stronger in my faith and having support of my peers who understand my situations.

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

Out going loving people

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

Expand and touch more lives.

Ways to make it better...

The site had less leaning towards the left in support of the president and then saying it doesn't support politics.

In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...

Bridging the gap between mainstream Christianity and the gay community.

One thing I'd also say is that...

Justin, the guy in charge is a fantastic guy who has been exceptionally giving to the gay and Christian community both.

When was your last experience with this nonprofit?
