I came to know Beautiful Together Animal Sanctuary and its founders, Tamara and Steve Lackey, as their Realtor while we were searching for land on which to house the Sanctuary. I quickly realized that the ideals BTAS holds most dear: being active advocates for at-risk animals and eventually utilizing children's programs to assist, completely align with my own long-held dreams, and I immediately joined the team as a full-time volunteer.
Beautiful Together Animal Sanctuary's dogged optimism for change helps lift everyone around and has facilitated saving countless animals, while also assisting in educational outreach to help alter the very way that people think about rescue.
It just takes one interaction with Beautiful Together Animal Sanctuary to be swept up in their enthusiasm and positivity about changing the ways our society views and handles the most vulnerable populations. Beautiful Together Animal Sanctuary has and is cultivating an incredible team of directors and volunteers across the state and the nation! I feel incredibly honored and fortunate to be a part of this outstanding, evolving work.
