I came across Powerful Project at a time in my life when I was at my most vulnerable. In 2019 I had emergency surgery to deliver my youngest child at 31wks gestation. The months that followed were spent with my baby in NICU and at home with 2 other young children. I forgot to take care of myself and so when post partum depression set in coupled with isolation of living through a pandemic, I was overwhelmed by so many emotions.
Since being connected with a wonderful Therapist through this amazing non-profit organization I am on my way to recovering my positive mental wellbeing. My family is benefiting from the support offered by a team of amazing people.
The organization has been able to work with me on my limited budget. I would recommend this service to anyone needed help during life's challenges.
