It’s been pretty inspiring knowing MOCC has touched the lives of so many women so quickly. Whether it be through the resources made known, the care packages provided or just the words of encouragement knowing there a many other women fighting this horrible disease, we’ve come a long way. I know my late cousin, Rhonda is looking down in amazement.

MOCC is truly unique in that it provides resources and imperative information to woman and their families that otherwise would not be found anywhere else. Mucinous ovarian cancer is so rare that those who are diagnosed are left to wonder where any support is. That is where MOCC comes in. From care packages to free second opinions this non profit sincerely wants to help.

It’s been awesome to hear the stories about all the women MOCC has reached. Some have found resources and information they couldn’t find anywhere else, which is what our late founder, Rhonda is smiling about now. We have also just awarded our first grant that will be dedicated to deeper research into this neglected type of ovarian cancer.

MOCC has reached women all over the country in just two short years. At least one woman’s life was probably saved after she was able to reach a specialist whom she discovered through MOCC. With every care package sent, I know Rhonda is smiling down on the coalition.

MOCC has sent dozens of care packages to women suffering with this terrible disease, raised over $50,000 for research, offered free counseling sessions and much more. It’s nice to know there is a place women can go for support and resources.
