Review for Mission4Maureen, South Euclid, OH, USA
My husband is 38 and was diagnosed with astrocytoma two years ago. After surgery, standard of care, and post-radiation necrosis, he is doing well but not without challenges. While you wouldn't be able to tell that he had brain surgery by conversing with him or meeting him, he continues to have neurological deficits that have progressed (he is unable to interpret written language or connect to dates and numbers). Because of this, he is unable to work, and we have sought supportive therapy to help him over the past two years. Despite always having insurance, many of these items are not covered, and if they are, with a significant out of pocket portion. Sparing us all a commentary on healthcare in the US, I can simply say that Mission4Maureen was there to help support us. Just as several of our bills were reaching past-due status, Mission4Maureen was able to take a few of them off of our plate, easing the stress on me as a caregiver and financial provider, and my husband who sometimes feels that his condition is a burden on me.
It is great to know that Mission4Maureen was there to help us!
