Review for National Brussels Griffon Rescue Incorporated, Dallas, TX, USA
Our family already currently had 2 brussels griffons (Walter from a AKC breeder and Remington from a shelter in Indiana) but when I saw this little lady on their Facebook page I fell in love with her little face. Camilla who came to us on Fathers Day 2017 as "Clara 3424" had been surrendered by a puppy mill in Ohio. We submitted a detailed application, had our referenced checked, and had some long conversations on what it would take to provide for Camilla since she was coming from a sad situation. The NBGR was very helpful and gave us all the information we needed about her so there were no surprises. We are so happy we adopted her, she had already made lots of progress living with her foster family but she has grown so much since being in a loving environment. The NBGR cares about where their dogs are going and are very thorough when selecting a home, we even sent pictures of our picket fence to make sure she wouldn't be able to sneak through. Her foster family drove her to our house and they were sad to see her go but happy to see her with her new family of people and new pack of brussels griffons. Camilla is still happy and healthy and we are so thankful she was able to be rescued by such a caring organization. Thank you NBGR!
