My Nonprofit Reviews
Review for National Brussels Griffon Rescue Incorporated, Dallas, TX, USA
In 2012, I happened upon the National Brussels Griffon website and there they were: Molly and Chewy, a bonded pair. Although I have had dogs all of my life, I had never adopted. The NBGR's process is very thorough. I appreciate the way they ensure that dogs will be well taken care of. Four years later, I adopted one more, Sammy. His foster mom had two elderly Griffs that probably would not be adopted but the NBGR was dedicated to caring for them for the rest of their lives. That's what I love about this organization. They are committed to the animals. They insure that their medical and emotional needs are met. The Paws of Winter is a program that cares for Griffs that are seniors or that have special needs. The NBGR is supportive to the adoptive parents...only an email or call away. The network of volunteers make this huge sprawling country seem like a small, caring neighborhood community. They work together efficiently and in such a friendly manner.
I cannot praise this nonprofit enough. It is outstanding!
