Review for National Brussels Griffon Rescue Incorporated, Dallas, TX, USA
In 2010, we lost our beloved Abby, a Brussels Griffon who we naively got through a pet store. After four months of grieving her, I convinced Bill that we needed a “transition” griff to help us through our grief. We turned to NBGR and rescued (or maybe they rescued us) our Pixie and Dolly. For six years, these two silly girls brought us such joy. When they left us—just six months apart—we agreed to wait several years before getting another dog. That resolve lasted about a year when, once again, we saw two delightful girls on the NBGR website. We drove from Houston to Kansas City to pick up KIMI and Kishi. I think we have made a difference in their lives; I know they have made a difference in our lives. The people at NBRG—Margy Simons, Connie Lawrence, Jan Carpenter and all the others—have dedicated their lives to ensuring that these precious fur babies find the perfect home. It is our joy to have been/be that perfect home for four of these babies.
