Since forming in 2006, Drop in the Bucket (DROP) has completed more than 360 well projects. DROP continues to create innovative projects and programs to further empower communities in Uganda and South Sudan. Although many people consider DROP a water charity, their work is centered around giving children access to clean water as a vehicle toward education and empowerment. DROP provides communities with the necessary tools to ensure projects remain sustainable, while also giving them opportunities for economic freedom.
I know that when I donate to DROP, the funds are well spent on programs that address the most pressing needs of communities in Uganda and South Sudan. They pride themselves on sustainable, long lasting, and human centered projects and programs. In a world with many nonprofits to choose from, I know that DROP is a worthwhile investment and every dollar I share helps to make the world a better place.
