Review for Evangelicals For Social Action Fresno Incorporated, Fresno, CA, USA
ESA/Love INC helps people regardless of their religious background. Their goal is to connect clients to a helping church who can come alongside them and enfold them into their congregation. Marvin Olasky author and publisher of World Magazine wrote in his book 'Tragedy of American Compassion’ There are three things the poor need 1. Affiliation/belonging to a caring group of people. 2. Bonding/ having a few close caring people in their lives. 3. Categorization/food, clothing, shelter, money. ESA mobilizes the church to do that. The church is the largest company in our city, with branch offices in almost every neighborhood, where the poor can go to get the basics of life.

I can't say I would change anything about this organization, but I would like to see many more churches connect up with ESA/Love INC to be able to help even more people in need.
