My Nonprofit Reviews
Down Syndrome Network
Review for Down Syndrome Network, Tempe, AZ, USA
Down Syndrome Network has been a God-send to my wife and I as we've groped with the challenges of raising our 15 month old, Anabel, who has Down Syndrome. They've given us support emotionally with personal phone calls, but also in assisting us as we navigate the labyrinth of services that are needed.
I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
volunteer talks by an estate planning expert that changed how we're doing estate planning, and by a speech therapist who showed us some tricks to get our Anabel to drink from a straw, which will help her eventually develop language skills.
What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...
Personal interest, phone calls and emails to help support.
The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...
Loving and motivated.
If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...
Help those whose DDD services were just cut, so these kids don't get any further behind developmentally.
