“Big Sister Little Sister Mentoring program was the first organization I joined when I transferred to FAMU. Walking into the interest meeting, I instantly felt a sense of togetherness from the returning members. I knew that I wanted to be apart of a sisterhood where I could use my experiences to guide young ladies who were younger than me and this is where I could fulfill my purpose on campus. While fulfilling my goals of mentoring, I was fortunate enough to also serve as the Community Service Chair during the 2018-2019 academic school year. I gained professional skills, serviced the Tallahassee community, and a sisterhood that I know I’ll be connected to for life. Thank you BSLS for all that you have given me.”
