Review for ATTITUDINAL HEALING INTERNATIONAL, Sausalito, CA, USA
I had the honor and privilege of working with Dr. Jerry Jampolsky and his team from the Attitudinal Healing International on establishing the first Attitudinal Healing Center in a Medical Center several years ago. That was at Castle Medical Center located in Kailua, Hawaii. We conducted community Attitudinal Healing lectures, seminars, and conferences. Also weekly Attitudinal Healing support groups with medical center patients and the community that the medical center. I was the Director of the Center and the Director of Wellness & Lifestyle Medicine at Castle Medical Center at that time. We called the center the Castle Center for Attitudinal Healing which was an integral part of the programs we offered through our Wellness & Lifestyle Medicine Center. Attitudinal Healing offered a critical dimension at that time in offering a program and service for our patients and community in the field of Mind-Body Medicine. Many of the participants who attend our programs and Attitudinal Health weekly support groups, said that making the concepts of Attitudinal Healing a part of their life and lifestyle, greatly changed their life. It helped them to have "peace of mind". It helped them tremendously in controlling their stress and helped in dealing with life challenges that they faced in dealing with difficult relationships with other people. For many it helped them to learn forgiveness which lifted a huge burden off their emotions and mental state, for some, that they struggled with all their life. The concept that forgiveness is the, as Attitudinal Healing teaches, "the greatest healer of all", really became true in their life. We had many participants in our Attitudinal Healing work, tell us that not only did it improve their mental health and attitudes toward life, giving them more energy and peace of mind, but it also contributed to their physical health and wellbeing. During the time I served at Castle Medical Center, Attitudinal Healing played an important part of our Lifestyle Medicine programs. I am grateful to Dr. Jampolsky, his wife Diane, and the entire Attitudinal Healing International staff that worked with me and my Castle Medical Center staff in helping to establish our center and program.
