Review for Lord S Pantry of Downingtown, Downingtown, PA, USA
I was looking for a place to volunteer since I retired and started helping at The Lord's Pantry last spring. I feel privileged to work with Jan and her assistant Linda. The Pantry provides monthly food assistance to families in the Downingtown area who would otherwise go hungry. The volunteers I work with are amazing and the clients I see each month are so appreciative. They are able to truly shop and choose the food products their family needs. The number of needy families continues to grow and I find it so rewarding to be able to help at this wonderful organization.

Nothing
Role: Volunteer & On a weekly basis, I help stock the pantry shelves and then assist the clients shop for their food. They not only receive can goods but also milk, meat, fresh vegetables, fruit, eggs, cheese, margarine and fresh bread and baked goods.
