Ellie’s Army has tirelessly approached and highlighted a critical,
as well as challenging issue- the support of caregivers/ family/parents of children with life threatening illnesses. Not only have numerous studies determined that alleviating the stress on caregivers can have direct correlations with positive outcomes for for both the patients and the family as a whole, from my personal experience it is without a doubt a moral obligation. Ellie’s Army’s mission of sustainability as well as a multi faceted approach to supporting family’s fulfills a “Beyond overwhelming” and many times “overlooked issues.” It has been a privilege to support their work.
