Review for Volunteers for Veterans Foundation, Fontana, CA, USA
September 24, 2020
I am so blessed to not only have a job that I love, but that is also very rewarding. I feel privileged and honored to have an the opportunity to work with helping to improve the lives of those who so unselfishly served our Country, in particular our Homelessness Veterans.
Homelessness among Veterans is a persistent problem and they face many challenges that require a comprehensive response, as well as a joint effort from the community. Many of our Veterans have been homeless for years and literally have nothing. It is Non-profit organizations like Volunteers For Veterans Foundation who continuously give generosity month after month, and year after year to help our Veterans. Volunteers For Veterans Foundation love and support of our Veterans knows no limits. From buying beds, to paying past due rent, and rent deposits, utility bills, car registration and insurance, outstanding storage fees, purchase of vehicles, clothing and shoes for school and work, Thanksgiving and Christmas baskets, they do it all.
To be quite honest, at times I am completely blown away by Volunteers For Veterans Foundation non-stop kindness. Their generosity and support are much needed, and has made a tremendous difference in the lives of so many deserving Veterans and their family. I have been in the social services profession for more than 35-years, and I can honestly say that I have never worked with any agency that is more generous, and/or who is more passionate about helping others, than Volunteers For Veterans Foundation.
Respectfully,
