Review for Nazareth House Apostolate, Taylorsville, KY, USA
Father Seraphim and Vicki are honest, trustworthy, and humble servants of the poor, the weak, the suffering, the sick. This apostolate is a truly prayerful, holy ministry. They pray without ceasing, and I, as an Anglican novelist, was lifted up by their ongoing intercessions for my writing and my vocation.
In the last few years I was inspired to create a character in my novel, Angel mountain, like Seraphim. In this apocalyptical story set in the present day, a hermit named Abram preaches and baptizes from a precipice to crowds gathered in a meadow.
Nazareth House has offered retreats in the past and I hope they are able to continue this healing community of prayer after this pandemic of today has passed. I know many individuals who have been healed by their love and hospitality, as they are welcomed into their prayer family.
Nazareth House provides daily readings that focus my day with the appointed Scripture lessons and Psalms of Morning Prayer and Evening Prayer. They include folks all over the world in this prayer chain.
Nazareth House ministers in countless ways to the local community. They are part of a larger church with Anglican oversight, which gives them another dimension of trust and honesty. They are responsible caretakers of all that has been given them.
I heartily recommend supporting Nazareth House Apostolate and becoming a prayer brother or sister in this powerful mission. May God bless them always.
