Review for Rainforest Action Network, San Francisco, CA, USA

Rating: 5 stars

RAN is simply the most effecive organization working for envioronmental justice in the US today. They are small but strategic and scrappy. If you are a corporation profiting from global destruction and RAN sets it's sights on you- look out! They just may pull out the good inside your corporation and get you to Do The Right Thing.Your corporation probably knows that they are destroying the planet for profit, but profit is the bottom line - right? Well the planet is the bottom line for RAN, and RAN gets reesults. I am honored to have worked with RAN in various, primarily contract positions over the last ten years. I keep coming back, because RAN keeps winning!

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

getting major corporations to change their policies to protect the planet.

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

get an ear bud for my cell phone, because I would be on it all the time.

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

working with great, strategic, smart, focused people who know how to get results.

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

warm AND professional.

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

change the world, and hopefully make 40 million the next year!

Ways to make it better...

RAN had more money.

In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...

money. The name. Since RAN works with so much more that the rainforest, its hard to explain that since its their name.

One thing I'd also say is that...

I have worked in the feild of social and environmental justice for 20 years. RAN has given me the experience of success. Thank You!
