Review for Hearts That Purr Feline Guardians, Tucson, AZ, USA
Both of my cats are adoptees from Hearts That Purr. This is an organization that rescues senior cats whose owners are no longer able to care for their pets because of illness or death. Some have gone to shelters and have been rescued from there. The cool thing is that they take care of these cats for life, and they’re about the mission of helping people provide and pre-plan for their cats if something happens to the owners.
If the cat is ill in any way, they provide for medical care and give them a very loving “group” home for the rest of their earthly days. If the cat is healthy enough, they foster them with seniors, but provide for the necessary veterinary care for the cat’s life. If the cat turns out to be younger and healthy, they find families to permanently adopt them — which is how I came to adopt Muffin and Scooter.
Muffin and Scooter have been in my care for 4 years now. I love what Hearts That Purr does and how they do what they do so much that I became a volunteer.
