Review for Hearts That Purr Feline Guardians, Tucson, AZ, USA
I discovered Hearts That Purr in 2020 after a very disappointing experience with another local shelter/sanctuary. HTP is exactly the cat volunteer experience I have been searching for! I am so proud to be a small part of this amazing organization. HTP’s mission of providing a home and care for senior felines who have lost their homes due to terminal illness, incapacitation or death of their humans is so dear to my heart. HTP really walks the walk in living up to their mission and treating its residents with love, kindness and dignity. HTP is the gold standard in my eyes.
Review for Hearts That Purr Feline Guardians, Tucson, AZ, USA
I am a new volunteer but have already fell in love with the feline residents of Hearts That Purr. Their mission is dear to my heart -- providing life-long sanctuary care for unfortunate kitties who have lost their homes due to their humans becoming incapacitated, moved to assisted living facilities, or passing away. I am especially fond of senior cats, so I feel like I hit the jackpot finding Hearts That Purr, since it's population is largely very elderly cats, many with serious health issues. Hearts That Purr is a home setting, with several living and bed rooms with large windows providing round the clock critter and bird watching for its residents, and is filled with lots of comfy upholstered furniture, cat trees, toys and an over abundance of comfy beds. HTP has a very devoted group of volunteers.
