My wife Julie and I have been involved with Helping Hands for Single Moms since 2005. The work they do helping single moms get an education which leads to excellent job placement and earning on average over $45,000/year is amazing given the situation many of these single moms find themselves in. The added community support through encouragement and teaching groups, free dentistry, car repair, haircuts, etc. is just amazing. To top it off the average GPA I believe exceeds 3.5. Wow to the women and to the organization supporting them!!

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

The attending of their events and hearing from the moms.

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

Make it global!

Role:  Donor & We have supported some of their events and are a donor.

Review for World Impact Network (WIN), Bellevue, WA, USA

Rating: 5 stars

My wife and I were introduced to World Impact Network (WIN) through our involvement for over 6 years at the Gathering Place in Bellevue, WA. Gaby and Peter who oversee WIN are fantastic people truly committed to making a difference as evidenced by their very hands-on approach to serving others. Their impact on communities is multifaceted with superior management of the resources they have available including the many volunteers who support the greater cause. The local community is served well through the Renewal Foodbank sponsored by WIN, the largest food bank in the area, and their youth program provides mentoring and skills training for the immediate community. The world at large is served through their international missions trip activity which seeks every year to meet the needs of those in impoverished and often tragic situations. I hope and pray they continue to receive increasing financial and volunteer support enabling them to expand the impact they are having!

We actually lived very close to the Renewal foodbank and were able to see the benefit to the community. Also, we know many of the generous people who participate in the missions trips across the globe and the impact on them as they serve others is as great as the needs they are meeting!

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

Seek ways to ensure its ongoing success through replication, expansion, and legacy planning.

Role:  Donor & contributed financially to support WIN's success.
