My Nonprofit Reviews
Review for The Gay Christian Network, Raleigh, NC, USA
Well first off the website provides tons of material for people that are having troubles with their faith and also their sexual orientation. It's very complicate for one to sort out by him/herself due to the mindset that had been set by each culture. Religion is sometime fabricated by that of human, and several religion condemns and scorn "abnormal" sexuality. But in reality, heterosexual is just the common sexuality. The website itself offers debates about the term homosexuality and also the moral factors that comes into play. It offers a different view about homosexuality as to that of the perspective that the society comes to know. It breaks the stereotype of what it means to be homosexual. It gives a clear meaning as to what is in reality homosexuality and with the hope to show the world the truth. It also offers help to those that are being pushed to the limit of breaking one's life in order to escape. Basically in a few words.. the website's intention is to teach what is the truth about homosexuality to everyone and also offer help to thoses that need support.
I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
I was having problems with my faith and my sexuality. With more than 15 years of search I've finally understood and was given a real conviction of the fact that I can be gay and also a christian. My sexuality was not my sin that I was fighting but it's lust and pornography that hides behind my sexuality. Since when I've realized this, I was able to grow more spiritually and face the sins that I need to conquor. Thank God for this site and for the person that shared this site with me. God LOVE You All.
If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
Perhaps extend it to more areas in the world, but it takes time to do that so I'll wait patiently and try to do what I can do to make this suggestion a reality.
