Review for Educational Pathways International, Incline Village, NV, USA

Rating: 5 stars

I am Emmanuel Arhin, a 5th year Doctor of Pharmacy student at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Kumasi-Ghana and I have been a beneficiary of Educational Pathways International (EPI) scholarship since 2016.

Getting the opportunity to be part of EPI scholarships has been a life changing miracle for me and my family. Before EPI, getting financial assistance to school was very problematic and I was compelled to do phone repairs on vacations in order to earn some amount towards the next year’s fees. The means of getting my fees became a collective effort of my two brothers, myself and our mother. Being the eldest son with both my younger brothers waiting to further their education in tertiary institution, this act of contributing for the continuation of my education meant they will have to wait on their education until I am done with my six-year programme.

With EPI scholarship, there has been a great ease for my family. My brothers have now been able to save and invest enough for themselves and with little help from my benefits, they now have started their own small businesses and are doing very well. I am also able to study with much peace of mind since I no longer have to worry about financial issues. With EPI my academic performance has been consistent and is at the top.

EPI also offers seminars and training sessions to it beneficiaries and I have been privileged to partake in most of them. I am someone who is naturally shy but through these trainings I am able to stand in public and speak without any shyness.

I have loved science since my childhood and I aimed at working in the field of health because of an exposure to the hospital at a younger age as a result of one of my dad’s numerous hospital admissions. The display of professionalism by the health workers got me interested in the field of health and I have worked towards it. I love chemistry and innovation as such I chose to study Pharmacy. With Pharmacy, I believe I stand the position of influencing the society greatly.

Since the programme is entrepreneurship oriented, I aim at having one of the best pharmaceutical and cosmetic companies in the country in the future and beyond. With this, I will be able to offer job to a lot of the youth in the country, do free health screening and health care for the sick and needy in selected communities, offer scholarship to the needy students in the communities.

I will like to express a warm appreciation to Educational Pathways International scholarship and commend them for their great work being done. They are really changing the world and making dreams achieved. My family and I are so much grateful.

Long live Educational Pathways International.
