PWC helps keep disabled and elderly homeowners in their homes by providing critical repairs, mobility and other services. I have been a volunteer for 13 years and the relationships I have formed with their clients and staff are life changing. Being able to help a person have a safe and secure home, or giving a person the ability to get out of their home by providing a wheel chair ramp is very rewarding. Our clients appreciate our work and I have been able to bring many returning volunteers to help with PWC because they love how much their work makes a difference in the lives of the PWC client. Prepare Affair helps the clients get prepared for winter is a huge help to those who have limited strength and mobility. Repair Affair fixes many things like plumbing, roofing and other critical home repairs. Oscar night is a fundraiser that anyone can participate in to raise money for these day to day efforts. People Working Cooperatively is a wonderful non profit and the BEST!

I have seen the effects of the work PWC does on the clients and it is life changing. To see a person otherwise stuck in their home, but then able to get out into the world because PWC installed a wheelchair ramp is a tremendous honor. The relationships formed with the client are rewarding.
