I recently attended JDP Theatre Company's production of
Hairspray. Once again the company put on a fabulous show. The set was very effective and the costumes were spot on. Most of all I was impressed by the quality of the talent that the directors are able to coach up in the cast. Character development was strong and consistently portrayed, even when the cast were simply providing background roles.
I have the privilege of watching the production from behind the scenes. The directors foster an atmosphere of professionalism and respect, without losing the fun.
I highly recommend this company to any young people who are interested in theater.
