I volunteered with Project Open Hand weekly for a year and a half. Those shifts, mainly in the kitchen, but a few in the grocery, are among the most satisfying experiences of my life. The dedication to helping the community by providing meals with with love is inspiring and not just a tag line. I can’t tell you how many times I saw Chef Adrian and the team correct someone’s slicing/chopping technique or stop the packaging process to ensure that the meals were as beautifully presented as they were prepared. I cherish the contribution I was allowed to make at POH and miss the team.
