Veterans Airlift Command is an amazing organization.  The VAC team and pilots truly have a knack for making you feel like family.  After being injured in Afghanistan in 2012, the team came to visit my wife and me at the hospital and told us that when we were well enough to go home for the first time that they would be happy to help.  At this point, it was difficult to get out of the hospital bed, so flying halfway around the country seemed impossible but we soon learned that VAC makes the impossible, possible! We have so much respect and appreciation for the staff, the pilots and everyone else who makes VAC's mission possible.
